Joint vaccination centre of Klinikum Chemnitz gGmbH and the City of Chemnitz
The Joint Vaccination Centre of Chemnitz Hospital and the City of Chemnitz has been in operation since September 2022.
All recommended vaccinations are carried out there:
- SARS-CoV-2 (Corona)
- Influenza (flu)
- FSME (tick vaccination)
- Hepatitis A+B (jaundice)
- Measles, mumps, rubella, chickenpox
- Tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis (whooping cough), polio (polio)
- Pneumococcus (pneumonia)
- Herpes zoster (shingles)
- HPV (cervical cancer)
- Meningococcus (meningitis)
Regular opening hours:
The joint vaccination centre is regularly open every 1st Wednesday of the month from 2.00 pm to 6.00 pm. All vaccinations according to the Saxon vaccination calendar are available.
Special vaccination campaigns against influenza and corona in autumn
From 1 October, the joint vaccination centre of the city and the hospital will once again focus on vaccinations against influenza and coronavirus for three months.
The vaccination centre will be open every Wednesday from 2 pm to 6 pm, except on public holidays. Registrations for the vaccination appointments are now possible online. Please note: One appointment must be made per vaccination. The appointments will be released gradually. Other immunisations are not scheduled during these months.
Anyone who comes for immunisation on Wednesdays without an appointment must expect to wait. Vaccinations will then be given according to available capacity. The best chance of getting vaccinated without an appointment is between 3 and 5 pm.
There are also special vaccination campaigns on Saturdays:
These will take place on 01.11. and 15.11.25 from 10am to 2pm in the joint vaccination centre at the clinic. On 8 November, the Office for Health and Prevention will also be offering vaccinations against influenza and coronavirus at its location in the city centre (Am Rathaus 8). It is not possible to make an appointment for the vaccination Saturdays. The closing time on these days is 1.30 pm.
Vaccination options and individual consultations are also offered by GPs, paediatricians and various specialist practices.
Appointments at the Joint Vaccination Centre
To ensure the availability of the respective vaccine, it isstrongly recommended that you book anappointment at.
Appointments can be booked online or via the service number 115.
The available appointments will be displayed in the portal.
If necessary, please cancel booked appointments in good time (up to 6 hours before the appointment) so that no vaccines are wasted. Otherwise, we reserve the right to charge you for the costs of a no-show. By booking an appointment, you agree to this regulation.
Depending on capacity, people without an appointment can also be considered, preferably between 3 and 5 pm. This may result in waiting times.
