Car sharing

Car sharing is the shared use of passenger cars at desired times. The concept is a sensible addition to local public transport, private transport, walking and cycling. As a user, you save the purchase, maintenance and insurance costs of owning your own car.
User-friendly car sharing has been available in Chemnitz again since June 2012. Vehicles can be rented at more than 30 locations, for example in the city centre, on Kaßberg, in Schloßchemnitz and in Bernsdorf - for as little as one hour or for several weeks.
Bookings can be made via the Internet or by telephone. The vehicles are available at various stations and can be opened with the customer card. The vehicle must be returned to the same station at the end of the journey.
