Hospice and Palliative Network_C

Grief takes time. And people who go with you.

When a loved one dies, many things are thrown out of balance. Grief can make us silent - or loud. Every grief is unique. There is no "right" way, but it helps not to have to go it alone. The network offers counselling, support and information on all aspects of grief - for adults, children and young people.

Integration network

The Chemnitz Hospice and Palliative Care Network was founded on 1 January 2025. It is supported by various cooperation partners from the field of hospice and palliative services as well as other social organisations from Chemnitz and supplemented by network partners who are dedicated to the topics of death, dying, mourning and farewell.

The network aims to establish services for the dying and grieving in Chemnitz, to provide support services for those seeking advice, to network meeting places and to sensitise the city's society to the topics of dying, mourning and saying goodbye.

Counselling is free of charge, neutral and confidential. The network is available by telephone, e-mail or, by appointment, in person for those affected.
