Hydrogen Campus & industrial transformation
With the Hydrogen Campus, a new development and settlement area for hydrogen-based technologies and industrial transformation is being created at the Chemnitz Technology Campus.
A growing innovation environment for research, development, testing, qualification and industrial application along the hydrogen value chain is developing around the Hydrogen Innovation Centre (HIC).
The location combines scientific excellence with available development areas, modern infrastructure and a strong network of industry, research and technology development. Together with the hydrogen technology cluster HZwo e. V., Chemnitz University of Technology and the Fraunhofer Institutes ENAS and IWU, a powerful ecosystem is being created for companies and project partners in the field of hydrogen technologies.
<p<p>With the Hydrogenium and other development areas, new infrastructure for companies, project teams, international specialists and technology-oriented collaborations is also being created.
The Hydrogen Campus is thus developing into a central location for hydrogen-based industrial and future technologies in Chemnitz and south-west Saxony.
Hydrogen Innovation Centre
With the Hydrogen Innovation Centre (HIC), a modern research, development and testing infrastructure for hydrogen technologies is being created at the Chemnitz Technology Campus. The HIC combines office, laboratory and workshop space as well as test and outdoor facilities, creating flexible framework conditions for development, testing and collaboration. It is a location of the national Hydrogen Innovation and Technology Centre (ITZ H2).
moreInvesting at the Technology Campus
The Hydrogenium is the central infrastructure project of the Hydrogen Campus Chemnitz. The planned campus building combines research, work and life at the site. It offers an attractive investment in this growing technology-driven environment.</p
moreSpace for development
The Chemnitz Technology Campus has available development areas for research, company relocations and technology-orientated infrastructure projects.
With the expansion of the Hydrogen Campus, the site will be specifically expanded with new development, laboratory and project areas.
The combination of proximity to research, industrial infrastructure and available space creates attractive conditions for:
- Technology-oriented company relocations
