Customer portal for social services

The customer portal is the central point of contact for applying for social benefits from Chemnitz City Council.
It is located on the ground floor of the Moritzhof Citizens' and Administration Centre in Bahnhofstraße.
It makes it easier for customers of the Social Welfare Office and the Youth Welfare Office to apply for financial social benefits.
The following benefits can be applied for in the customer portal:
- Severe disability/state allowance for the blind
- BAföG
- ChemnitzPass/radio licence fee
- Parental allowance and state child-raising allowance
- Housing benefit
- Education and participation package
- Social welfare and assistance for the blind
- Debt counselling
- Advance on maintenance payments
- Allocation of daycare / after-school care centres
- Parental contribution reduction daycare centre / after-school care centre
