Care requirements planning 2021 - 2026

The "Care needs planning 2021 - 2026" analyses the current and future care structure in Chemnitz. Target figures and planning statements were derived on the basis of qualitative and quantitative surveys. The document focuses on the following topics:

  • Description of important aspects for care needs planning
  • Excursus: Control capability of the municipality
  • Full inpatient care facilities
  • Excursus: Housing
  • Outpatient care by nursing services and social centres
  • Day and night care
  • Short-term care and full inpatient respite care
  • Offers for support, care and relief
  • Excursus: Staffing situation in the care sector

The care requirements plan reflects the current and future needs of the care infrastructure and is intended to serve as a guide for investors, providers and services wishing to establish new services in Chemnitz.
