Chemnitz Christmas tree erected
In the late afternoon of 8 November, the Christmas tree was erected in front of numerous onlookers. Prior to this, it was expertly felled in the forest district of the Sachsenforst state enterprise in Eibenstock, Wildenthal district, and transported to Chemnitz on a low-loader. The waiting time at the market was shortened with hot drinks and delicious food from the barbecue as well as a children's carousel.
Less than an hour after its arrival at the market, the tree was finally standing in its designated socket.
