Residents' meeting on 18 April 2024
for the entire city area in the town hall
On 18 April 2024, all Chemnitz residents were invited to a residents' meeting at the town hall from 5 pm.
Lord Mayor Sven Schulze, the mayoress and the mayors provided information on current developments and key projects.
Afterwards, participants were able to address their concerns to the administration and the city's stakeholders and engage in dialogue. In addition to representatives of the City of Chemnitz, contact persons from the European Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025 gGmbH, the Chemnitz transport company, the waste disposal and city cleaning company as well as the citizens' platforms and community activists were also available.
The next residents' assembly for the entire city area is expected to take place on 21 November 2024.
