Enthusiastic singers and instrumentalists from Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic, Ukraine and Austria came together in Chemnitz for the summer philharmonic orchestra and choir. Musicians of all ages and abilities were very welcome. During a 4-day rehearsal phase, the programme was developed under the guidance of professional mentors. The highlights were the final concerts, which took place outdoors in Chemnitz and Chomutov.
The artistic director of the project was conductor Elisabeth Fuchs, who had already conducted the opening concert of the 2020 Saxon Mozart Festival and SoPhi22 with Beethoven's 9th Symphony.
