SCHULEWIRTSCHAFT Chemnitz working group

The regional working group in Chemnitz is one of 34 working groups in the SCHULEWIRTSCHAFT network in Saxony. Representatives from schools and companies as well as school authorities, associations and business organisations work on a voluntary basis to promote partnership-based cooperation and improve the vocational orientation of young people in Chemnitz.

Organisation of the working group

The SCHULEWIRTSCHAFT Chemnitz working group is chaired by representatives from schools and business:

  • Mirko Löffler - Siemens AG
  • Dr Guntram Schönherr - Sachsen Guss GmbH
  • Elisa Tutzky - Secondary school "Am Körnerplatz"
  • Erik Schulze - Reichenbrand secondary school

The task of the chairpersons is to represent the working group and to define the main areas of focus. The chairpersons lead the steering committee of the SCHULEWIRTSCHAFT Chemnitz working group.

The steering committee is made up of around 25 representatives from the school and business sectors. The members contribute to networking in the Chemnitz region and actively contribute suggestions for improving vocational orientation.
