For "just in case" - the emergency card

In some situations, e.g. in an emergency on the street, where you can only provide limited information about yourself, it is helpful to have the most important information with you so that others can act on your behalf.

This includes, for example, contact details of people you should inform in such an emergency. Or the question of whether someone else needs to be cared for who would be helpless without your support. This may be the case, for example, with relatives in need of care, but also with pets. In such a situation, it can also be important to provide information about existing illnesses and impairments, e.g. wearing a pacemaker, diabetes, dementia, allergies and intolerances, taking blood-thinning medication and more. It may also be important whether a living will is in place and/or whether other precautionary arrangements have been made.

The template for an insert card in a practical wallet format is used to record this information in a nutshell and to carry it with you so that it is available "in the event of an emergency".

> Simply cut it out, fill it in, fold it along the lines and put it in the wallet.

It is also advisable to keep this information handy and easy to find at home, e.g. in the entrance area, next to the telephone, etc.
