Communication campaign "The city is me"

The people of Chemnitz were at the centre of the communication concept, which was launched in March 2014. They describe their attitude to life, acknowledge the good aspects of their city and thus become ambassadors for a strong Chemnitz worth living in. The campaign advertises with the inviting motto "The city is me". In the first year, people in the city and surrounding area were addressed first, and then Chemnitz was further publicised outside the city. The online dialogue platform was at the heart of the campaign.
One component of the campaign was the "Makers of the Week", which continues to this day.

The interviews in the "Doers of the week" section confirm that success stories can also be written in Chemnitz. Personalities from the worlds of culture, business and sport who are particularly successful with their project, idea or work in Chemnitz and are committed to the city are presented here.
