- the natural water cycle and the tap water cycle and
- that clean water is a valuable resource that is unequally distributed around the world.
The daycare centre water bag contains a landscape cloth with 32 picture cards to explore our water cycle, movement games, experiments, stimulating handicraft tasks, a sensory journey and the popular hand puppet "Tropfi", who can actively and enjoyably accompany the children during all educational units. Together they find out how drinking water gets into our taps and what a great and versatile drink it is.

Play and exercise box
The play and movement box contains a variety of play and movement materials that are designed to promote the physical and mental development of children in a playful way. The box contains balancing objects, ropes, balls, swinging towels, movement games as well as social and communicative games. It also offers numerous opportunities for joint games and interactions, allowing the children to strengthen their social skills and teamwork. The box can be used in both small and large groups.
Counselling and therapy for eating disorders
This service is aimed at adolescents and adults with eating disorders. It includes individual psychological counselling and support - including telephone counselling - and individual therapy if required.

EU school programme for fruit, vegetables and milk
24 daycare centres and schools in Chemnitz benefit in the current school year
A total of 24 facilities in Chemnitz are taking part in the EU school programme for fruit, vegetables and milk in the 2023/24 school year. Specifically, four daycare centres and 20 primary and special schools have been approved by the Saxon State Office for the Environment, Agriculture and Geology. All institutions that have applied and have not now been accepted remain on a waiting list. Should funds become available at a later date, further facilities may be admitted according to the order of random selection.
