Oberrabenstein game reserve
The game enclosure in Oberrabenstein, which has existed since 1973, has been part of Chemnitz Zoo since 1995. It is about ten minutes by car from the zoo and can be easily integrated into hikes through the Rabenstein Forest.
European wild animals can be observed in peace and quiet in the approx. 36-hectare natural oasis. The grounds are spacious and unspoilt. Visitors have the opportunity to observe the approximately 100 animal inhabitants of 15 species in the spacious enclosures not only from the paths, but also from observation platforms.
The wildlife park is located in the Rabenstein leisure region - very close to the reservoir, campsite, Rabenstein Castle and the rock domes.
