On Monday, 24 November at 3 pm, the Danish Ambassador Thomas Østrup Møller will sign the Golden Book of the City of Chemnitz. The inscription will take place at the invitation and in the presence of Lord Mayor Sven Schulze in the Green Salon of the Town Hall, Markt 1.

The reason for the visit to the town hall is the ambassador's participation in the discussion event "Making Europe safe, innovative and sustainable - with Denmark in Chemnitz" at the invitation of Minister President Michael Kretschmer. This will take place on 24 November from 4 p.m. in the Hartmannfabrik Visitor and Information Centre, Fabrikstraße 11.
Together with the Danish Ambassador Thomas Østrup Møller, the Saxon Prime Minister Michael Kretschmer and Prof Dr Matthias Niedobitek, Professor of European Integration at Chemnitz University of Technology, will discuss current challenges and visions for the EU of tomorrow. Denmark will hold the Presidency of the Council of the European Union in the second half of 2025.
Ambassador Thomas Østrup Møller is visiting Chemnitz for the second time, having already been welcomed here at the opening of the Capital of Culture year.
