The City of Chemnitz has installed new bicycle racks at the Chemnitz Municipal Music School, Gerichtsstraße 1, thereby significantly improving the parking facilities for cyclists.

A total of 18 stainless steel racks with crossbars have been installed, which are suitable for both large and small bicycles. This means that up to 36 bicycles can be locked up theft-proof.

The new facility with modern standards thus offers additional parking facilities and supports the use of bicycles as an environmentally friendly means of transport.

The construction project was realised by the city's civil engineering department. The costs for this totalled 7,800 euros.
