Mayors for Peace: Deadline for art competition extended

Children and young people can submit drawings until 15 October

This year, the Mayors for Peace city network is once again calling on children and young people aged 6 to 15 to engage with the topic of peace and take part in the art competition "What Peace Means to Me".

The deadline for submissions has been extended to 15 October. Drawings can now be handed in at Chemnitz City Hall until then or sent to the following address: City of Chemnitz, Division 09.1 - European and International Relations, Protocol -, Markt 1, 09111 Chemnitz.

Mayors for Peace is an international network of cities committed to the abolition of nuclear weapons and lasting global peace. The city of Chemnitz has been a member of Mayors for Peace since 2006 and has organised various campaigns to draw attention to this cause.
