On Thursday, 6 March at 11 a.m., the construction of construction phase B of the adventure farm at Chemnitz Zoo will start with a public groundbreaking ceremony. Interested Chemnitz residents are invited to attend.
Mayor Knut Kunze, representatives of Chemnitz Zoo and the Friends of Chemnitz Zoo Association as well as partners of the "Charlies Kooperative - Bauernhoflebnis 1883" campaign, which initiated the project, will be taking part. The "Charlies Kooperative" fundraising campaign will be launched at the same time as the ceremonial tapping of the pitchfork.
Representatives of the media are also cordially invited.
In two construction phases, the adventure farm will become a new attraction for visitors of all ages and an attractive home for endangered, native domestic animal breeds.
The area of the former playground is being remodelled and integrated into the zoo as part of a cooperative project between the Tierparkfreunde Chemnitz e. V. association and Chemnitz Zoo.
