President of the Parliament of Lower Austria visits Chemnitz

Photo opportunity: Entry in the Capital of Culture Book on 17 September, 10.45 a.m., Grüner Salon, City Hall, Markt 1

On Wednesday 17 September at 10.45 a.m., the President of the Parliament of Lower Austria, Karl Wilfing, will sign the City of Chemnitz's Capital of Culture Book in the presence of Lord Mayor Sven Schulze and the President of the Parliament of Saxony, Alexander Dierks. The entry will take place in the Green Salon in the City Hall, Markt 1.

Representatives of the media are invited to the photo opportunity.

Andrea Pier, Managing Director of the European Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025 gGmbH, the Director of the Saxon State Parliament, Dr Silvia Brüggen, and Ines Saborowski, First Vice President of the Saxon State Parliament, will also be present.

From 15 to 17 September, the Saxon State Parliament will receive a delegation from the Lower Austrian State Parliament led by Karl Wilfing, President of the Lower Austrian State Parliament. The two parliaments have enjoyed a close dialogue for more than 30 years.

As part of the visit programme, the delegation will visit Leipzig on 15 September, Dresden on 16 September and Chemnitz on 17 September.
