Exchange of experiences with guests from Pazardzhik

On Monday, 22 September at 11.30 a.m., the Mayor of Pazardzhik, Petar Kulenski, and other representatives of the Bulgarian city will sign the City of Chemnitz's Capital of Culture Book in the presence of Lord Mayor Sven Schulze.

Representatives of the media are invited to the event in the Green Salon of the City Hall.

The delegation led by Mayor Petar Kulenski would like to exchange experiences with representatives of the City of Chemnitz in the fields of culture, education, medicine and business. The aim is to share insights from municipal practice and discuss possible joint projects for the future. The Bulgarian guests also want to gain an impression of the European Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025. The programme includes a visit to the Industrial Museum and the Garage Campus as well as a tour of Chemnitz Hospital.

In addition to Lord Mayor Sven Schulze and Petar Kulenski, Mayor of Pazardzhik, the Deputy Mayor for Culture and Education, Tanya Kolchakova-Yaneva, the Deputy Mayor for Finance and Economy, Lyubomir Gechev, and the Director of Pazardzhik City Hospital, Dr Krasimir Temnilov, will also take part in the working meeting. Krasimir Temnilov, the Medical Director of the Chemnitz Clinical Centre, Prof. Dr Martin Wolz, and the Head of the Food and Veterinary Office of the City of Chemnitz, Dr Michael Kern.
