From 7 April, the waste disposal company of the city of Chemnitz (ESC) will be renewing the sewer system on Melanchthonstraße. In the course of the construction work, there will be a full closure for vehicle traffic until 29 May, while pedestrians will be guided past the construction site. Access to neighbouring properties will be granted by the contractor HoSch GmbH from Jahnatal.
The total construction costs amount to around 210,000 euros.
