Residents' meeting on 23 April 2026
for the city centre-east
for the entire city area in the town hall
On Thursday, 23 April 2026, the first residents' meeting of the year took place. All interested residents of the Yorckgebiet and Gablenz districts of Chemnitz were invited to attend.
In the first part, Mayor Sven Schulze, the mayoress and the mayors provided information about current developments and key projects in the city, especially in the Mitte-Ost district.
Afterwards, participants were able to address their concerns to the administration and city stakeholders and engage in dialogue. Participants included the Mitte-Ost citizens' platform, CVAG and ASR.
The next residents' meeting is expected to take place on Thursday, 8 October 2026 for the entire city area.
Presentation of the event
