The economic report for 2025, which has now been published, provides interested parties with a comprehensive overview of the development of the business location and activities in the area of economic development.

<p>The report shows that Chemnitz was able to further strengthen its role as a dynamic industrial and technology location in 2025. In particular, the focus was on supporting companies, supporting innovation and transformation processes and strengthening networks between business, science and administration.

<p>Business development also focused increasingly on the further development of key future fields such as robotics and smart systems, medical technology, microelectronics and semiconductor technology as well as greater internationalisation.
