On 18 June, the City of Chemnitz Economic Development Agency, together with the Taiwan Representative Office in Berlin and the Silicon Saxony network, is organising the first Taiwan Business Day.
The event follows on directly from the Silicon Saxony Days in Dresden from 15 to 17 June, which will also focus on Taiwan as a key region. In Chemnitz, the focus will be on microelectronics.
At midday, representatives and a company delegation from Taiwan will visit the Fraunhofer ENAS with its Test and Reliability Centre. A public symposium will follow at 3 p.m. in the town hall with Lord Mayor Sven Schulze and keynote speeches by Taiwanese and German business representatives. The activities emphasise the growing international networking of our city in the field of microelectronics and are intended to highlight future investment potential.
