In March and April 2023, the City of Chemnitz conducted a survey of Chemnitz residents aged 16 to 19.
For this purpose, a total of 6,000 people with their main residence in Chemnitz
were contacted and asked to answer the questions provided online. The aim of the survey was to obtain the broadest possible range of opinions on Chemnitz as a place to work and live among young Chemnitz residents.
Particularly relevant to the objective were people who were still in school education and therefore not yet tied to a Chemnitz company.
Of the Chemnitz residents contacted, a total of 1,834 had taken part in the survey by the end of the survey.
