The German-British Society is a registered association based in Chemnitz. It was founded in 1990. The purpose of the society is to promote mutual understanding between German and British citizens and thus to contribute to the realisation of European community thinking.
Any citizen who has reached the age of 14 and recognises the statutes can become a member. The organisation is financed by membership fees, donations and grants.
