The "Heimatverein Adelsberg e. V." was founded in 1993 from a 1989 citizens' initiative. It aims to encourage interested people from Adelsberg to help shape and contribute to the development of the neighbourhood.
Previous and further involvement of the local history association for:
- Extension / expansion of the school
- Revitalisation of the local fair
- Design and construction of a local pyramid and a candle arch
- Construction of the "Adelsbergblick" viewpoint
- Construction of a new Adelsberg tower on the Adelsberg
