Ambassadors from several countries sign the Golden Book of the City of Chemnitz

On Friday, 29 May at 6.30 pm, Lord Mayor Sven Schulze and the Industrieverein Sachsen 1828 e. V. are inviting around 30 participants of the International Future Forum "Chemnitz 2026 - New Horizons in Future Technologies" to a reception at Chemnitz City Hall. The Future Forum is a joint conference of Chemnitz University of Technology, Industrieverein Sachsen 1828 e.V. and the German Global Trade Forum Berlin and will take place in Chemnitz from 28 to 30 May.

Representatives of the media are invited to attend.

On the occasion of their visit to Chemnitz, the following international guests will sign the Golden Book of the City of Chemnitz:

  • H.E. Dr Imomudin Sattorov, Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan,
  • H.E. Ömürbek Tekebaev, Ambassador of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan,
  • H.E. Saqlain Syedag, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan,
  • H.E. Ajit Vinayak Gupte, Ambassador of the Republic of India,
  • H.E. Muhammad Zulqar Nain, Ambassador of the People's Republic of Bangladesh.
  • Thi Thu Ha Nguyen, Counsellor and Head of the Investment Department of the Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam
  • Indiana Wong, Director and Head of Hong Kong Trade & Invest Berlin

A group photo is planned afterwards.
The International Future Forum "Chemnitz 2026 - New Horizons in Future Technologies" aims to make Chemnitz and Saxony visible as an international centre of innovation and science and to initiate concrete contacts between international partners, research institutions and companies in the region.
