On Monday, 1 June at 2 p.m., Lord Mayor Sven Schulze will welcome students from the Spanish department of Johann-Wolfgang-von-Goethe-Gymnasium and their Argentinian exchange students from the German school in Llanús, Buenos Aires, in the City Council Chamber of Chemnitz City Hall, Markt 1.

The 19 Argentinian students, accompanied by two teachers, will visit Chemnitz from 29 May to 7 June to gain an insight into everyday school life here and take part in family life with their host families. They will also gain impressions of the developments in the city of Chemnitz as European Capital of Culture 2025 and selected regions of Saxony.
On Monday, 1 June, after a city rally, they will visit Chemnitz Town Hall, meet the Lord Mayor and then climb the town hall tower.
