Representatives of the media are invited to take a look at the redesign of the children's library in the TIETZ Central Library as early as 10 am.
There will be an opportunity to take photos and talk to library representatives on site. For organisational reasons, please send a short message to the press office of the City of Chemnitz.

The children's library has been extensively remodelled in recent weeks. In addition to renewing the flooring, conceptual changes have also been implemented. The aim of the reorganisation was to create a library area that is particularly suitable for children, as it can be used intuitively and accessed independently.
The new design is geared towards the needs and developmental requirements of children and gives them even better access to media and reading.
With the redesign, the library is setting an example for early childhood education, reading promotion and a high quality of stay. In future, the children's library will present itself as a modern experience space that invites children to discover, learn and linger.

There is more space for little explorers in the new event room for the youngest children. The popular programmes for daycare and preschool groups will take place there in a quiet, child-friendly atmosphere - with plenty of room to move around for lively stories, first reading adventures and curious questions.
