The illuminated fountain in the Schloßteichpark has been out of service since today. The reason is a technical fault. During this year's commissioning of the fountain, a defect was discovered in the suction pipe, which had caused water to enter the pump house.
As the pump technology was partially damaged, the illuminated fountain, which is located behind the Schilling figures, is currently unable to play its water feature. In order to be able to repair the defective pump technology, the system has been completely shut down.
As things stand, this work and the subsequent tests will take around four to six weeks. The aim is to have the system fully operational again by mid-June.
