Auditions in Munich and Regensburg with Chemnitz participation

From 21 to 31 May, the third and final round of "Jugend musiziert" and thus the national competition will take place in Munich and Regensburg. Pupils from Chemnitz Municipal Music School will also be taking part. They qualified for this year's "Jugend musiziert" state competition in Zwickau in mid-March.

The following pupils were awarded first prize with a transfer to the national competition: the duo Nancy Kühnel (flute) and Richard Junge (accordion) as well as the trio Jakob Stöß (oboe), Theodor Börner (oboe) and Ronja Liebich (cor anglais).

This year's "Jugend musiziert" competition includes solo categories such as singing, piano, harp, guitar (pop), drum set (pop) and various instrumental ensembles.
