On Saturday, 6 June, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Environmental Centre invites interested parties to a nature hike through the Bornwald forest in the Ore Mountains. Participants will explore the species-rich forest, dreamy meadows and tranquil ponds with an expert guide. The biologist and nature conservation officer of the Erzgebirgskreis, Kay Meister, will show the botanical and zoological treasures.

Participation in the event is free of charge. Registration is required by 3 June - either by telephone on 0371 488 6177 or by email to umweltzentrum(at)stadt-chemnitz.de.

The approximately six-kilometre, easy circular walk will be at a leisurely pace. It is possible to stop off at a local restaurant after the hike.

Arrival and departure are to be planned individually with start/finish near Krumhermersdorf. The exact meeting point will be announced after registration.
