The village of Euba is located in the east of Chemnitz. It was the first district to be incorporated after reunification in 1994 and has been a vital part of Chemnitz ever since.

    Teams from several youth fire brigades from the city area compete against each other in technical firefighting elements.

777 years of Euba - celebration weekend 2027

From 27 to 29 August 2027, Euba will celebrate its 777th anniversary with a weekend of festivities. A varied programme is planned for all generations - with cultural contributions, encounters, entertainment and shared experiences in the village.

Preparations for this special anniversary have already begun. Ideas, participation and support from the population are expressly welcome and will help to make the festival diverse and lively.
