Arrival and shuttle service to the Museum Night on 9 May 2026
Die Tickets zur Museumsnacht gelten als Kombiticket gleichzeitig am 10. Mai 2025 von 9 Uhr bis 4 Uhr des Folgetages als Fahrausweis auf allen öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln im gesamten VMS-Verbundraum – außer Sonderverkehrsmittel – sowie auf den Extra-Rundfahrten zu PURPLE PATH – Chemnitz 2025 und auf den Shuttle-Extratouren in Chemnitz.
The Museum Night tickets are valid on 9 May 2026 from 9 a.m. to 4 a.m. the following day
- On all public transport in the entire VMS network area (except for the Augustusburg cable car and Fichtelbergbahn) and
- on the shuttle extra tours for the Museum Night

Central departure and transfer point in Chemnitz - Brückenstraße stop
The buses for tours 2 to 4 meet at fixed times at the central departure point on Brückenstraße (Stadthalle bus stop, in front of the Karl Marx Monument), making it easy to change buses.
Tram 1: Brückenstraße < > Schönau
The shuttle express tram Tour 1 connects the city centre and the Schönau turning loop along Zwickauer Straße every 15 minutes between 5 pm and 1 am.
Bus Tour 2: Stop Brückenstraße (Stadthalle) < > Ebersdorf
between 5 p.m. and 1 a.m. every 15 minutes

City-Bahn line 11 Chemnitz main station < > Stollberg (Sachs)
The City-Bahn line C11 takes you to Klaffenbach moated castle (Neukirchen-Klaffenbach station, 5-minute walk) every 1 hour. The last departure from Neukirchen-Klaffenbach station is at 11.48 pm in the direction of Chemnitz or 0.07 am in the direction of Stollberg. In Chemnitz, the stops served include the Roter Turm and Zentralhaltestelle stops.</p

The last departures from the museums in Chemnitz will be between 1.05 and 1.45 a.m. in order to enable the transfer possibilities at the central bus stop to the buses of the night lines N11 to N18 (from 11.45 p.m. hourly).
