Late shift 2026: Companies can register

The Spätschicht 2026 will take place on Friday, 30 October 2026, in Chemnitz, the Ore Mountains, Central Saxony and the Zwickau region. The late shift enables visitors to gain direct insights into the working world of various companies during exclusive guided tours and to talk to employees. This is a valuable opportunity for job seekers and career starters in particular to gain career guidance and engage in personal dialogue.
Registration for visitors who would like to book guided tours of companies will be possible from the beginning of October 2026. Further details and information on registration will be announced in good time.
The event has successfully established itself in recent years and attracts a broad target group with its variety of participating companies. Last year, around 5,000 visitors and 100 participating companies set a new record for the number of participants.
The late shift is organised by the City of Chemnitz, Business Division, in cooperation with Grundstücks- und Gebäudewirtschafts-Gesellschaft m.b.H. (GGG).
