The Ambassador of the Republic of Latvia, Alda Vanaga, signed the city's Golden Book on Monday afternoon.

Also visiting were the project coordinator for the European Capital of Culture Nikšić 2030, Nemanja Popović, and Anna Priedola, Creative Producer for the European Capital of Culture Liepāja 2027.

In the evening, the European guests attended the Mayor's European Reception at the Hartmannfabrik. There, they spoke in panel discussions about the accession processes of Montenegro and Latvia to the European Union and the role of the Capitals of Culture in this process.
