Advance ticket sales for this year's Chemnitz Museum Night start today. On Saturday, 9 May, museums, galleries and cultural institutions in Chemnitz and the ZeitWerkStadt in Frankenberg invite you to take a look behind the scenes, engage in conversation and discover new things. Around 270 programme items offer numerous highlights from 6 pm to 1 am - with special family offers from 4 pm. In keeping with the Year of Jewish Culture in Saxony, the motto is "Tacheles!".

Tickets can now be purchased online at www.chemnitz.de/tickets_museumsnacht and at all advance booking offices (see list). The Museum Night ticket is available for 12 euros (concessions 6 euros) or as a family ticket for 24 euros. Children up to school age are admitted free of charge.

- Military and federal volunteers
- Holders of the Chemnitz Pass
- Recipients of citizen's allowance
- People with disabilities, in each case upon presentation of authorisation; persons accompanying people with disabilities with the "B" sign are admitted free of charge.
The ticket is also valid as a combined ticket from 9 May, 9 a.m., until 4 a.m. the following day as a ticket on all public transport in the VMS network area as well as on the ShuttleExtratours. The Augustusburg cable car and the Fichtelberg railway are excluded.
