Market for the sale of grave decorations 2026
In 2026, the City of Chemnitz is organising a market for the sale of grave decorations on both sides of the Reichenhainer Straße footpath, near the cemetery and the "Schreberhain" allotment garden association.
Selling times:
13.11. to 22.11.2026, 9.00 - 16.00 hrs.
Participants
Suppliers with the following products are authorised:
- Grave decorations, wreaths, cemetery arrangements, brushwood, flowers as a secondary assortment
Applications
Interested parties should send their application for authorisation to sell grave decorations, using the form linked below, completed by the last working day in September 2026 to the City of Chemnitz, Rechts- und Ordnungsamt - Abt. Polizeirecht, Ordnungsrecht, Märkte, 09106 Chemnitz.
Only fully completed and signed applications will be considered.
Authorisations
- Authorisation may be granted for one or more days or for the entire period at the company's discretion.
- The City of Chemnitz takes market-specific requirements into account when granting authorisation.
- The event, the authorisation of participants and the relevant cost decisions are governed by the
- Chemnitz Market Statutes and
- Statutes of the City of Chemnitz on the levying of fees for the use of market areas of the City of Chemnitz
in the version valid at the time of the event (in this respect, it is strongly recommended to consult the homepage of the City of Chemnitz in good time and repeatedly if necessary)
If the number of eligible and suitable applicants is too low (less than 5), the market will not take place.
