Participants
The items specified in Section 67 (1) GewO may be offered for sale at the weekly market. According to § 68a GewO, snack shops are also permitted.
Applications
Interested parties should send their application for admission to the Chemnitz weekly market to the City of Chemnitz, Ordnungsamt - Abt. Polizeirecht, Ordnungsrecht, Märkte, 09106 Chemnitz, using the completed form , by the last working day in November 2024.
Day registrations must be coordinated with the market staff. Only completed and signed applications will be considered.
Authorisations:
- Admission to the weekly markets may be granted for one day, one month or for a maximum of one calendar year at the discretion of the organiser.
- When authorising a weekly market stall, the City of Chemnitz takes into account the market-specific requirements, in particular
a) the range of goods already available on the market
b) the principle of producer before trader
c) the chronological order in which applications are received (waiting list).
- The event, the admission of participants and the relevant cost decisions are governed by the
- Chemnitz Market Statutes and
- Statutes of the City of Chemnitz on the levying of fees for the use of market areas of the City of Chemnitz
in the version valid at the time of the event (in this respect, it is strongly recommended to consult the website of the City of Chemnitz in good time and repeatedly if necessary).
