At its meeting on 4 March 2026, the Committee for Urban Development and Mobility approved the draft of the project-related development plan no. 25/02 "ALDI-Markt Zwickauer Straße 403" together with the explanatory statement and designated it for publication on the Internet.
The project-related development plan is being developed using the accelerated procedure in accordance with Section 13a BauGB in conjunction with Section 13 para. § Section 13 (2) and (3) BauGB (simplified procedure).
In accordance with Section 13 (3) BauGB, the environmental assessment pursuant to Section 2 (4) BauGB, the environmental report pursuant to Section 2a BauGB, the information pursuant to Section 3 (2) sentence 4 BauGB on the types of environmental information available and the summarised declaration pursuant to Section 6a (1) and Section 10a (1) BauGB are waived.
The draft plan with explanatory memorandum and the following significant, already available environmental comments:
the Environmental Agency of the City of Chemnitz dated 15 September 2025 and
the City of Chemnitz Green Space Office dated 22 September 2025
will be reviewed in accordance with Section 3 (2) BauGB
from 1 April 2026 to 5 May 2026
published online at www.chemnitz.de/oeffentliche_auslegungen and on the Saxony state portal at www.bauleitplanung.sachsen.de.
In addition, the planning documents will be on public display in the New Technical Town Hall, Friedensplatz 1, in public display room A014, to the left of the main entrance, during the following times

During this exhibition period, the public can submit comments on the project-related development plan. Comments should be submitted electronically to stadtplanungsamt-beteiligung(at)stadt-chemnitz.de. If required, comments can also be submitted in writing to the City Planning and Property Office or verbally for recording in room B521. Comments that have not been submitted in good time may be disregarded in the resolution on the development plan if the municipality did not know and should not have known their content and their content is not relevant to the legality of the development plan.
