In June 2024, the international festival for contemporary dance celebrated its 10th anniversary!
Renowned performers and companies from five continents brought superlative dance to Chemnitz. The guest performances, workshops and performances in public spaces brought dance right into the centre of the city's life. As an intercultural dialogue, the festival once again became a mirror for a Europe full of stories and ruptures, points of friction, drive and future spirit - in keeping with the Chemnitz Capital of Culture idea of C the Unseen.
The 11th TANZ | MODERNE | TANZ international festival for contemporary dance will take place in the Capital of Culture year from 18/06/2025 - 29/06/2025. More information will follow soon!
