Route map through Chemnitz
Cycling is also becoming increasingly popular in Chemnitz. Whether short tours around the castle pond or through the city park or longer tours along the Chemnitz Valley cycle path - Chemnitz already has an extensive cycle tour network.
The "Cycling through Chemnitz" map was updated by the City of Chemnitz in 2022. It shows an overview of the signposted cycle routes in the city area and highlights places of interest along the route.

The "Chemnitz City Bicycle" project offers a total of 150 rental bicycles at 9 rental stations for tourists and locals to explore the city.
