On 25 June 2020, the Culture Committee adopted the 3rd amendment to the "Guidelines for the Granting of Grants in the Field of Art and Culture" as part of draft resolution B-130/2020. The amendment had become necessary due to some adjustments in the area of legal regulations, but above all in connection with the "Cultural Strategy of the City of Chemnitz for the years 2018 to 2030" adopted by the City Council.

The thematic focus C 2 "Give space! Create conditions, develop funding models" was implemented as a first step with the revised funding guideline. The new guideline contains a strategic guideline that serves as orientation for the awarding of funding and as a reference point for possible funding content and funding formats.

The brochure can be downloaded here and is available in printed form from the Cultural Management Department. Collection is currently only possible by appointment (Tel. 0371 488-4121, e-mail:kulturmanagement(at)stadt-chemnitz.de).
