State election on 1 September 2024

The elections to the 8th Saxon State Parliament will take place on 1 September 2024.

The election is governed by the provisions of the Act on Elections to the Saxon State Parliament (Sächsisches Wahlgesetz - SächsWahlG) in the version published on 11 August 2023 (SächsGVBl. p. 598), as amended, and the Ordinance of the Saxon State Ministry of the Interior on the Conduct of Elections to the Saxon State Parliament (State Election Regulations - LWO) of 20 April 2023 (SächsGVBl. p. 129), as amended.

Final election results of the state parliament election in the Chemnitz constituencies determined

At its public meeting on 6 September 2024, the joint district electoral committee for the state parliamentary election on 1 September 2024 in constituencies 9 Chemnitz 1 to 11 Chemnitz 3 determined and established the following final election results for the three constituencies

Barrier-free polling stations for the state election

The election notifications sent to eligible voters in the period from 22 July to 11 August 2024 will indicate, among other things, the electoral district and the polling station in which the voter can vote.

Review of the 2019 state elections

At its public meeting on 5 September 2019, the joint district electoral committee for the state parliamentary election on 1 September 2019 in constituencies 10 Chemnitz 1 to 12 Chemnitz 3 determined and established the following final election results for the three constituencies.
