City council and local council elections on 9 June 2024

The local elections in the independent city of Chemnitz include
- the election to the Chemnitz City Council and
- the eight local council elections for the localities of Einsiedel, Euba, Grüna, Klaffenbach, Kleinolbersdorf-Altenhain, Mittelbach, Röhrsdorf and Wittgensdorf.
Local elections are held every five years. The State Ministry of the Interior has scheduled the 2024 municipal elections for Sunday, 9 June 2024.
