Annual financial statements
In accordance with Sections 88 and 88c of the SächsGemO, annual financial statements must be prepared at the end of the financial year and adopted by the City Council. After adoption by the City Council, the annual financial statements are published in the official gazette of the City of Chemnitz and made available on the Internet.
The annual financial statements contain the profit and loss, financial and asset accounts. A statement of accounts, notes and the final report of the audit office are also included.
On 11 December 2024, the City Council of the City of Chemnitz resolved to adopt the 2023 annual financial statements with the submission B-271/2024. The adoption resolution will be published in the official gazette on 20 December 2024.
