Voluntary Social Year (FSJ)
Young women and men aged between 16 and 26 have the opportunity to volunteer for social work after completing their compulsory full-time schooling. The FSJ is a good opportunity to try out a professional field and thus qualify for the labour market. The FSJ can be recognised as an internship or waiting period in many social studies and training courses.

moreVoluntary service for all generations (FdaG)
FdaG Saxony is aimed at people aged 18 and over who have completed compulsory schooling and vocational training. FdaG Saxony supports people who are living in transitional situations and want to reorient themselves. By trying out voluntary activities as part of a low-threshold voluntary service, social contacts can be made, new experiences in working life can be gained and one's own quality of life can be improved.
