The election to the 21st German Bundestag took place on Sunday, 23 February 2025.
District electoral committee determines final election results for the Bundestag election on 23 February 2025
At its meeting on 3 March 2025, the district electoral committee of constituency 161 Chemnitz for the election to the 21st German Bundestag determined and established the following final election result for the constituency: Dr Alexander Gauland (AfD) is the candidate who received the most first votes in constituency 161 Chemnitz with 32.19%.
A total of 183,295 Chemnitz residents were eligible to vote. Voter turnout was 79.06 per cent and therefore higher than in 2021 (74.57).
