Outpatient care services support people in need of care and their relatives with care at home. They provide help in everyday life and make it easier for family carers to organise work and care.
In Chemnitz gibt es eine Vielzahl von Seniorenpflegeheimen, die über vollstationäre Pflegeplätze sowie teilweise über Kurzzeit- und Tagespflegeplätze sowie über Wachkomapflegeplätze verfügen.

The "Care needs planning 2021 - 2026" analyses the current and future care structure in Chemnitz. Target figures and planning statements were derived on the basis of qualitative and quantitative surveys. The document focuses on the following topics:

The care requirements plan reflects the current and future needs of the care infrastructure and is intended to serve as a guide for investors, providers and services wishing to establish new services in Chemnitz.
